Could you put the ER into context, please?

Yes, but in what country, year, etc?

I assume ‘so and so’ is still alive?

:D  I wonder if that would be an abbreviation for Electoral Roll ?   I am another RChatter who uses ER as an abbreviation for Electoral Roll.

Have you found your Mother on ER's for 1947 or 1948?

There is an Ivan C Boyd living at 26 Esmond Court, Kensington on 1946 ER's.   With him is listed Alice M Kingsford.

She is on her own in 1945 and 1947.

From your previous thread. Yes, I think ER stands for Electoral Roll.
