Carter/ Wright Wiltshire Hertfordshire Dairy workers
« on: Saturday 25 April 20 10:47 BST (UK) »
I’m currently researching Elsie May Wright born 1898 in Stevenage, Hertfordshire but working as a dairy maid in Lower Woodford, Wiltshire and the man she married later on in 1941 Albert Leslie Carter born 1903 in Wiltshire.

I know they were both employed at Barford Hall Farm and working together in 1939. I’m trying to find info of them working together around 1926.

Any help is appreciated

What sort of information are you after?

They might show somewhere in ER's, if online but lots are not, they might have a newspaper entry somewhere, one never knows, they might be mentioned in a father's military record as families were, they might be in a trade directory,  but lots of people have minor roles in history and there is often a gap after 1911 until the next census is available. (1921 in January 2022).

Have you got her exact date of birth and birth record (Wright/Ansell?)  Born 1898 or 1897?

Added:
Sister Gertrude registered March quarter 1898, so when was Elsie born?

Added:
Is this her, so born end of 1896 or 1897
Elsie May Wright mmn Ausell March quarter 1897 in Hitchin
