My grandfather is the illegitimate child of Arthur SCOTT, son of George SCOTT (or SCUTT), born 15th March, 1877 in Hobart Tasmania. My grandfather was born in 1917 in Hobart Tasmania and was the result of a relationship that occurred whilst Arthur was home in Hobart undergoing "home service" due to injuries received in WW1.

I would love to make contact with the SCOTT family and would dearly love to see any family photos, especially of Arthur or George.

It seems that Arthur was one of about 10 children to the couple George and Mary Ann Elizabeth (nee HEDGES) SCOTT.

What research have you done to locate the descendants of these siblings?

https://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/SearchNRetrieve/Interface/SearchScreens/BasicSearch.aspx
 - Arthur Scott's war records show that he was suffering from shell shock,

https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/29674518?searchTerm=%22Scott%22
 - the family did put notices for him in the local newspaper

https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/187160480?searchTerm=%22George%20Scott%22
 - his mother passed away in 1920

His father passed in 1921, here is his will which lists seven children who were to receive equal shares in his estate, including Arthur
https://stors.tas.gov.au/NI/651480

These are:
Caroline Rosina Mathers wife of Andrew Mathers
She remained in Liverpool street until her death in 1959, two sons, two grandsons and a granddaughter are mentioned
https://stors.tas.gov.au/NI/676356

Mary Ann Henrietta Sparks wife of Albert Sparks
She died in 1935:
https://stors.tas.gov.au/NI/1566668
He died in 1948 and mentions two children in his will:
https://stors.tas.gov.au/NI/658923

Robert John Scott - possibly died 1946 Hobart

Arthur Scott, our man

Albert Scott - think this is him:
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/26418520?searchTerm=%22Albert%20Scott%22

Frederick Henry Scott married Ida Edith Pain
Had a son Douglas Henry who sadly died aged 10 - Robert John Scott was a witness at the inuqest

https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/23742104?searchTerm=%22Douglas%20Henry%20Scott%22

Interestingly it appears that this family were in NZ for a time - they had boys George Maxwell and Reginald Frederick in Hobart, then went to NZ -   Douglas Henry was born there in 1914, and twins Donald Herbert and Frederick Charles in 1916.
There is a relative to this family here:

Charles Ernest Scott
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/219374952?searchTerm=%22Charles%20Ernest%20Scott%22

Hopefully you can find a link to some descendants who might have family photos.

Interesting to note in the will that  Arthur Scott is listed as returned soldier and living at his father's address - the others live around Hobart, with Caroline Rosina Mathers living just down the road.
Sadly, I think he probably struggled on returning from the war, dealing with shell shock which was poorly understood back then, and then with his mother and father passing not that long afterwards.
