He was one of thirteen children born to Thomas Blagg and Grace Goulson. Ten of the thirteen lived into their 90's and between them all had a combined lifespan in excess of 1050 years.

A son of the Thomas in the article went on to produce and print many County Pedigrees as well as transcribe, edit and print Phillimores Registers.

Rootschat never fails to amaze me !

I`d never thought of a combined life span for individual families. I`m going to now do a few sums!!!

I`ve quite a few families In Lincolnshire who lived in their respective villages for 100s of years.

I've probably got a few family groups with a longer average lifespan than the 13 siblings but they will all be smaller groups and born a bit later.  Far more likely that say 3 siblings could hit a higher average.
