Thornham Magna/Wickham Skeith - Lummis/Berry/Cattermole

Tanya the Newbie here! 

I've been researching my family history via the Ancestry
site for a year now, looking for my paternal grandfather,
who is likely a descendent Annie Beatrice Lummis.

Several generations were born,lived,died at 186 & 187 Clay St,
Thornham Magna. There are links to Wickham Skeith.

It may be Jack (Percy?) Berry or Henry Cyril Berry, brothers,
both in the military. Checked Fold3 & National Archives
but not much there. My father was conceived in the Federation
of Epoh, Malay States in 1937, so I am looking for navy
links & have one photo of my grandmother's wedding
that date stamps the circumstances, with the
groomsman looking quite a bit like my father!

If anyone can assist, it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you got your grandmother's marriage certificate?

Did your Father live in England, or stay in Epoh?

This appears to be Annie's birth record

There are seven births with the Cattermole/Lummis combination, three registered in Hartismere and four in Tendring.

Did William and Annie have seven children?

Make that eight, there appears to be an earlier one

My known grandmother had to leave Epoh and return to Australia,
due to her circumstances at the time, which her new husband's
workplace (mining) paid for her return.

I attach a picture of the groomsman 5-Oct-1936.
Unsure if it's him but he does look like my dad!

I'm a little confused as to who we are looking for.  You mention your paternal grandfather but I'm not clear as to his surname? 

You mention two brothers whose surname is Berry.  Where do they fit in and from whom are they descended?

Australia appears to come into the picture, when and in relation to whom?

You also mention 1936, so who is that in relation to and where?

My unknown grandfather could be Jack (Percy?) Berry or Henry Cyril Berry who are the
sons of Annie Beatrice Lummis of Thornham Magna, Suffolk. There are several grand
children now confirmed via DNA links to both myself and my father.
Thanks to the DNA, we know we are related to Annie & her mother Alice, but Im still
trying to close the gap and get to the bottom of this mystery.

My known grandmothers wedding that took place in Epoh, Malay States in 1937,
is the only time stamp I have around the time my father was conceived. 
Her new husband at the time was not his biological father.

We had no luck obtaining a copy of the marriage certificate itself but there
was a text record, which unfortunately did not include the groomsmans name
as a witness of the ceremony.
