No record of her in the NZSG Burial Locator .

But in the NZSG NZ Marriages 1836-1956 there is a 1920 marriage of a Lily GRAY to a Cecil Winfield McGregor CAMERON which seems unlikely but perhaps worth pursuing. No results for 'lily gentry'.

What is the latest record you have for her, and living where, please?

1893 Electoral has Lillie living in Victoria St West, Auckland and she is not listed in the 1896 E/R with Charles.

That chappie appears to have been cremated at Karori but see no Lily on the cemetery website .... for elimination/or not.  He would have been 46 when married in 1920.

1893 is only for the Women, for when they could first vote.   The address was the same for 1896.

Catherine Hill Bay is an old coal mining town on the central coast of NSW.  Charles was a lapidary, so interested in and skilled at polishing semi-precious and precious stones. 

Have we looked for Lillie with him in Aus?

So with Lillie in AKL until 1896?
Then (possibly) dies in Aus 1902

I realise that I had thought if we followed him we might find her. We need a timeline of them both.  Spades was asking...ie when was Lillie last documented  in NZ?
I am pondering, along with that when Charles William was last documented in NZ?
