What became of Adam Martin?
« on: Wednesday 29 April 20 18:04 BST (UK) »
Hello,

I canít find what became of Adam Martin. He was christened in Hilperton in 1771, and then moved to Devizes. Iíve attached something that appears to have happened after his death, but I canít work out all the legal language. The extract doesnít give a year. Here is the link: https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=SThKAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA2257&lpg=PA2257&dq=adam+martin+devizes&source=bl&ots=IkPPjlMMUy&sig=ACfU3U3lfcHCIjQefhh1sdEXwZIC5NytGg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiv3PjDjY7pAhUdURUIHXeQAG0Q6AEwBHoECAMQAQ#v=onepage&q=adam%20martin%20devizes&f=false

Iíve also attached the extract here. Can anyone please try to make any sense of it, and to try and find a corresponding burial?

Iíd appreciate any help!

I saw that second item, and my ancestor Sarah was born to him in 1804. Thanks for the date anyway, that narrows it down a little! Nothing jumps out from my searches of Ancestry and FindMyPast anyway.
