 thank for you advice .signed of as thought finished topic. today found my  death disc of the town ,bought from the family history group in 2007. looked up the person .death in 1937 .only one by name
 says shipyard blacksmith age 57. which is correct ,but what puzzles me is thought murder was for life.did he get released early . should I buy the death certificate .as you say will not say parents.did find is wife grave .which did not have. hope not been too much trouble with my querry. do not want to waste peoples time .went on british newspapers site. found  three reports .one in leeds .one from hull . last in Sheffield not a paid member of site .wondering if to pay .as only want trial reports.but would be  intresting  reading. thanks again .you can close this topic .as you suggest got most facts.mike

Occasionally the British Newspaper Archive or Find My Past [who also have same newspapers] have special offers so you could look out for those; some libraries have access to Findmypast so when they reopen [and if you are able to get to one] you could look there for free.

 Just thought would like to know have the details of the court case from the northern whig paper .
from IRELAND. Strange the case made it into the Irish newspaper .still he was charged with manslaughter . and sentenced to TEN YEARS .penal servitude . so would be free in 1926.
