Welcome to Rootschat!  :D

newspaper article from 1847 mentioning Imble Farm, part of the Bush Estate

https://newspapers.library.wales/view/3052583/3052585/13/

Mention of Hill Farm further on in the report, so also part of the estate. Bush estate seems to be in the hands of the Meyrick family.

Thomas Meyrick was made a baronet in 1880

The NLW holds maps of the estate that were made in the late eighteenth century

Pop "imble" ("   " not required in this instance) into Keyword Search and hit Search - 9 results. Not all relate to the Imble you are checking out

Belatedly - a very warm welcome to Rootschat.

Thanks Guys,

I've been through most of the Welsh Library stuff, i'm now down to looking for local knowledge i think until i can access the local archives for more information.

Unless there are further resources out there, I've come across a history of paterchurch (the old name for pembroke dock and can trace information on Imble farm back to about 1650. I'm not fully clear whether the farmhouse that stand there now was standing back then too or whether there was a dwelling at all on the farm.
