Just a touch more information and background on Thomas Lockett.

Lockett, Thomas. (6912). b. 1831. M. Shoemaker, lit Prod, convicted Norwich 1858 larceny, previous conviction. 10 years. Arrived Merchantman 16.2.1863. TL 14.3.1863. CP 17.10.1865.
Champion Bay; Shoemaker journeyman. Reconvicted WA 1.3.1876, 3 years (10, 177). Age 45 M shoemaker.
(Convicts and Western Australia 1850 1887).

Lockett, Thomas. b 1831. (expiree). Arrived 15.12.1863 per Merchantman. Wife in UK. Shoemaker, Greenough (1880s Alm).
Employed 5 Tcket of Leave men 1865 1870.
Became paralysed and was admitted to the Mount Eliza Invalid Depot 9.12.1886.

Thank you for expanding Thomas LOCKETT's profile.

The cause of his hospitalisation in 1886 would seem to add a pre-existing condition that may have been contributory to his probable death in 1894.
