Excellent results RK.  Janet Niepage was born 1908 - Canada Voters List 1963/68 showed them 77 Thirty-Second Street  York Ontario Norman was a baker - might he have had his own business.

Niepage Bakery, 77 Thirty-Second (Long B) ...

1949 J and Norman Niepage  (baker) - Josephine and John Ferries all lived at 32 Street.

There was a death of a George Alexander Smith (1936) who Janet Bannatyne Cairns married in 1932. However, that record said he was single.   ???

I found a memorial notice in the Star... that Janet Niepage placed in memory of her husband Norman.  She says he died Feb 14 1976.  I looked for an obit around that date and I can't find it.

Thank you so so much for all the effort you have put in. I shall write it all out in the morning so I can get my head around it. I shall also try to post a few photos so you can see the people for real.
Many many thanks
