Civil Records
« on: Sunday 03 May 20 17:56 BST (UK) »
Hi all
Hope every one is keeping well in this troubling times. I found a death online for 1968 for a five year old child, what I need now is to get the birth cert. I know the cert itself is not online would the page number and volume number be or is a trip to Werburgh Street be necessary. Thanks in advance

You will have to go on a visit to Werburgh Street.

FamilySearch have the Ireland Civil Registration Indexes, 1845-1958 which give volume and page numbers but the births are only indexed up to 1958.

If this record is in......…….
https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/

What you see here is what you will get on a cert from the office.
all they do is copy and paste the information of the person from this list onto a Certificate and date and sign it.
Seen them do it.
