Where did you find the information that he was buried in 1752 in Lacock? Was it Lacock the village or Lacock parish?

Genuki https://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/WIL/Lacock lists the records for St Cyriac:
WSRO registers: Chr 1559-1935, Mar 1559-1979, Bur 1559-1989
BTs from 1620 with gaps

Looking further, Find My Past seems to have the Wiltshire Burial Index, so maybe someone with a subscription will be able to locate him.  :)

I presume you have already checked Familysearch (though I don’t know if they will have what you are looking for)

From the NBI William Hunt 30 Apr 1752 at St Cyriac, Lacock

He has a gravestone which suggests he was 48 years old when he died.
It also mentions his wife Betty (no date)
their son William July 1735 age 1yr 6 mths
their son Fermore 13/10/1739 age 4
their son John  31 March 1752 age 25
their son William  10 October 1759 age 17

Hello

Fantastic. My year came from his Will dated April 1752 and proved July 1752 ... and the family definitely lived in Lacock.
Many thanks   :)

Hello

This is exciting. Can you provide a transcript for the headstone. His wife was definitely Betty so must be the right one

I cannot provide transcription of headstone, I looked up those records separately

Lacock church is well worth a visit if you are ever in the UK, I went there last year in the hope I would find some of my relatives there.

Yes I visited the village in 2010. Lacock is such an amazing place. Shame we didn't spend longer there and I know so much more about my family history now a few years down the track. Would love to come back but not very likely at the moment
