Great Haseley marriage 1794 - completed
« on: Tuesday 05 May 20 05:26 BST (UK) »
Hello,
Would it be possible for someone to look up the Great Haseley parish records (if available) and see if there is a marriage for Nathaniel BELCHER to a Hannah Amelia (possibly DUMBLETON) in 1794 please?

Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, as is often the case  ::)  as soon as I post a request I find the answer myself! 7 Oct 1794.

Don't know why I couldn't find it for searching yesterday!

Hi Maddy,

The original marriage register (on Anc..) lists her names as;

Hannah Mealy Dumbleton, sp, of this parish (Gt.Haseley)
Only a small point I know.

Thanks ribbo, yes I found the register.  :)

She's named as "Hannah Amelia" and "Amelia" on her children's baptisms, and "Hannah Mealy" on her husband's will.
