Apsley near Hemel Hempstead

I have Herbert George Cook (b 1877) living is Llanaber Road, Aspley near Hemel Hempstead in the 1911 census. He was a foreman at the Frogmoor Paper Mill.

However, I have been unable to locate that street on either modern or old maps of the area. Any thoughts?

Is that how he appears in Ancestry?  I can't see the entry

Look at previous/ following addresses to locate it. Llanaber rd may have been a short street , since demolished.

That is most odd - I tend not to use Ancestry but prefer FindMyPast. I've just put as many combinations of his and his wife's name (Florence Annie) into Ancestry but can't find the entry

One reason for preferring FindMyPast is that Ancestry now seems to favour blanking out the address in the signature box. Anyway, below is a screenshot of the signature box from FindMyPast.

So now scroll through precededing and following entries until you get a couple more street names, and go look for THOSE on modern maps.

OK, at one end we have:
Next The Limes, then Storey Street, Apsley End
At the other end we have Station House, Boxmoor then
66 London Road, Boxmoor

Comparing an 1893 OS map with a current Google map, assuming that the Station house was adjacent to Boxmorr Railway Station, there's a heck of a gap between it and  Storey Street.

I can only guess it has been a renamed street somewhere between Storey Street and the Frogmore Paper Mill

In 1901 census, there is 66 London Road aka railway Cottages, then 67 aka Station Master's house and 68 aka Herdsman's cottage. Following this is Roughdown Villas / road then Russell Place, Catlin Street. Looking at a map that is a logical order working west to east. Strange these other roads don't seem to be between London road and Storey street in 1911.
