Baptism William BIGHAM Llanishen please
« on: Friday 08 May 20 11:27 BST (UK) »
Hello
Is anyone able to search for a baptism in Llanishen please? It is for William Bigham who married on 20 Feb 1776 in Christchurch, Monmouthshire (Freereg lists the marriage place as Cwmcarvan where his wife Frances Edmonds was from) and he was listed as being of Llanishen. Their first two children were baptised in Llanishen, which I understand is near Cardiff and part of Glamorganshire, but apologies if it is actually in Monmouthshire? William's wife Frances was baptised in 1747 so he may have been baptised around then too. Thank you  :)

there's a Llanishen in both counties. I suspect it's the Monmouthshire one as otherwise the parish record would mention Glamorgan.

Thank you for that osprey, I discovered that there is a Llanishen in both counties after I posted my enquiry!
