Palm Readers
« on: Friday 08 May 20 14:59 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

I hope you don't mind me posting here!

I'm a professional historian in the UK who has started to research the stories of those who worked as palm readers in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. I have found lots of mentions of various palmist relatives on this excellent forum, and thought it would be worth posting to ask if anyone has any palm readers in their family tree?

It would be great to hear about any characters I might have missed, and I would of course be delighted to share my eventual research with anyone that's interested. I have found lots of newspaper articles, interviews and court records that detail forgotten figures so far - I'm sure there's much more out there waiting to be found!

Thank you very much.

Best wishes,

Anna
