Hi
I'm looking for any information on a M Brett 7236 2nd Battalion, Royal Irish Fusiliers.
Served in the Boer War possibly Michael.
Many thanks in advance.
Frank

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe

Thank you very much for that Max.
I'm also trying to find out where he was born and if he served in WW1.

There don't appear to be any other records associated with the Boer War record so no personal info to be gained.  No Great War record found with that name that has previous service in the R Irish Fus.
