Marriage East Stonehouse 1836
« on: Friday 08 May 20 17:31 BST (UK) »
Hello there

A James Elliott married a Mary Collard on 6 March 1836 at East Stonehouse - I have this from Devon Marriages on FindMyPast.

Could anyone with access to the register please let me know if Mary was a widow when she married? She's be about 40 at the time.

Many thanks in advance

Both were widowed. Mary's surname is written (and transcribed on FindMyPast) as Callard. You can access the image of the bishop's transcript here ...
