Looking at finding some info on my family SILVA

Says they lived in 47 wardley St Wandsworth, and they were proprietor of barrell organs and later confectioner any info if anyone remembers this name

Oh wow Thankyou , I never knew that , I’m new to all this , just found out about my great grandparents Giuseppe and adelia silva came to England in 1889 never knew adelia maiden name was sartori  , is this easy to find as I’ve only looked on ancestry Uk !!they came from piacenza  Italy

The 1911 indicates nine children born, five still living.  I've only been able to find six children.  Perhaps the other three were born in Italy and died there?

I’m looking for any information,
Giuseppe & adelia silva born 1866
Can I find out who there parents are ? Or as it’s in Italy not possible ?
My grandad was Louis silva born 1906 on the census it says his name is Luigi which is something I didn’t know
He married Dorothy collims (1904 )
In 1938 I think
And they had 2 sons Louis silva and my dad victor m Silva ( 1941)
I m trying to find as much information as possible as my dad can’t remember and he loved hearing about the things i found on the 1911 census

All are dittoed as born Italy, even Mary, and they are with other Italians.

Not sure why Mary is put down as born in Italy.  I put her birth registration details at Reply #4.

I suspect that the parents married in Italy as the 1891 census I found for Guiseppe had him as married but not with his wife.

There are a number of websites which can assist with Italian genealogy, you could try Family Search or Ancestry for starters.  There is also https://anglo-italianfhs.org.uk/ which may give you some information.

Just google Italian family history and explore what comes up.
