Other children born Kendal a gap of 6 years between 1st and 2nd. Mary and children were living in st.Annes 1901 and Blackpool 1911 but she is a widow in 1911. On the marriage register for 2 out of 3 children their father is Down as deceased Robert and a Tailor on the last I found just a line through father and profession. I can’t see them in 1891.
Was William in the military when they married?
Did the marriage certificate show his age?

I haven’t got their wedding certificate but thought he was in the military.  Married 4th June 1887Mary ellinors birthdate wasAprQ1864 Mary Elizabeth born Jan Q 1888 Glendale Northumberland, Robert Charles 1894 Kendal, Emily 16th April 1896 Kendal, Sarah Agnes 28th Dec Kendal and I had Tom as Thomas Albert 1904 Fylde but he could easily be Thomas Wilson because that is a family name. I can’t find any of them on the 1891 census have checked her family members they reappear minus William or Robert 1901 in St.Annes Blackpool where I believe Thomas was born she is down as married but on the 1911 census she is a widow and it states 1 child died. I did find a sergeant William Robinson Born Leicester 1863 on the 1891 census and he is at st. Boltoph Colchester Essex age 28 so thought this would be the likely husband but then having Robert as father on the marriage entry for Sarah Agnes and Emily but nothing on Robert Charles floored me. Thanks Jay

You need the marriage certificate for the bridegroom’s occupation and father’s name.

You have:
Mary Elizabeth born Jan Q 1888 Glendale Northumberland,

This birth has a mother’s name of Jobling

Your Mary Elizabeth with mmn Crossthwaite was born in Newcastle upon Tyne registration district.

Again her birth certificate would inform re father and occupation.

Think I’m going to have to call it a day on this one I’m doing this for my brother in law and at this point in time neither of us can afford to be sending for birth and marriage certificates.  I really appreciate all your efforts and thank you very much.

That seems wise.
It is no use speculating. Looking at dates, Mary Elizabeth might be the only child of the relationship. :-\
