The Charles and Emma Linford you've identified are my great grandparents and the Henry/Harry you identify was my grandmother's brother, who died in 1919. His first wife, Catherine Blackwell, died in 1910 so I think he must be a strong candidate.

It was just a thought as I couldn't find any other Henry Linford's deaths in Warwickshire between the year of Henry Linford & Fanny Kibby's 1913 marriage to the 1939 Register  ???
Then seeing Fanny Linford listed on her own on the Electoral Register in 1920

I'm afraid the only way of knowing who the father of this Henry Linford and what their occupations were would be to obtain the 1913 marriage certificate

Thanks again Ladyhawk. I agree with you about the 1913 marriage cert, which I shall order tomorrow.

I have now started hearing from various Linford cousins and 2nd cousins and, interestingly, nobody has heard of Vera Daisy but most are putting their money on Henry (1866).

Regards,

Keith

Please come back and let us know  :)

Another thought do you have the 1919 death certificate for your Henry Linford.

What was his address and who was the informant.

Boulton's initial was W, not K and the Guildford St address just stopped me in my tracks. I'm beginning to think  my paternal family owned that entire road.

It seems that copy registration requests are not welcome at the moment. Guess I'll just have to live in suspense for a liyttle longer.

Apologies, I misread your K Boulton entry and jumped in too quickly. I think I was still stunned by the reference to Guildford St. Yes, I do think K Boulton was probably Vera Daisy's son.

On Henry Linford, I don't have a death cert and the last address I have, per the 1911 cewnsus is 51 Paddington St., Aston
