« on: Monday 11 May 20 22:33 BST (UK) »
A birth was recorded at Port Royal, Jamaica in 1786:

William Clizy, son of John Clizy & Margaret Clizy

The surname was usually written "Clazy" or "Clezy".  The father, John, was in the Royal Artillery.

Any further records of similar surnames, anywhere in the West Indies?

Clezie (Clazie, Clezy, Clazy, Clazey, Claise, etc.), Lockhart, Heiser, Schwab, Tomon, Zarnowski, Megert, Iseli

Yes, that is mine, thanks.  I'm looking for more information about him.  What became of him after his birth?
