I have Hannah in 1900 Census Hancock Houghton Michigan b. Ireland Jan 1868 In 1910 Census Hancock Ward 1 Houghton Michigan Single in both censuses but variation of birth dates in 1910 given as 1873. I cannot locate Hannah after 1910 and would appreciate any assistance. Thank you

Sandra this could be the family but am helping a friend and as there were 2 stanton families in Kilworth Co Cork Ireland and we do not have the parents names for the three mentioned in the 1920 census.
My friend has a copy of a Passport issued in Detroit 17 Aug 1928 for 1 year for Thomas Stanton which could be the Thomas in 1920 census.
Also I note on this census Thomas & John were naturalized in 1905 could there be a record?
My friends grandfather Edmund Stanton b.c. 1869 last residence Kilworth arrived Boston 17 May 1896 on route to his sister Hannah Stanton 56 Haverhill Michigan Ship Cephalonia. I will try the church records to see if I can locate baptisms for John Thomas & Hannah to get their parents names. Thanks

This could be John Stanton with Thos Stanton as an informant. Looks like Ireland not Finland.

Have looked at church records found baptism for John Stanton 11th April 1852 with parents Thomas Stanton & Mary Noonan so this is a great possibility. Any trace of Hannah after 1920 Census. Tks Sandra

Thank you Sandra. I have another query for same family. Brother Edward Stanton b. 1863 I have all his records from USA. He married  24 April 1901 Haverhill MA to a Margaret H Driscoll but she died 26 March 1902 Edward was my friends grandfather & there was a rumour in the family that he had been married in America but it was only today I found the marriage & death. Edward was back in Ireland in 1911 Census but I cannot locate a ship record for his return from USA Which I estimate was between 1902 & 1911. Appreciate your help as always. Rgds Frances
