Jackdaw history folders
« on: Wednesday 13 May 20 21:24 BST (UK) »
Does anyone else remember these from the late 1960's?

There was a whole series covering a huge range of historical events. I remember I had one of the Armada and another of London around the time of the Great Fire. Both had a lot of facsimile documents which really piqued my interest in history.

Yes we had them in the library where I worked for many years. They were around later than the 60s. A blast from the past!

Yes. Not something I would have remembered without the prompt.

I had forgotten all about them, but was looking on the history section of a secondhand book site the other day and there were a few for sale.
I hadn't realised they covered so many topics.
