It looks as if Andrew JENSEN applied for naturalisation in 1904.

The 8 page document can be searched from  here.
https://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/SearchNRetrieve/Interface/SearchScreens/BasicSearch.aspx

He was from Norway.  Is that your understanding? He arrived in Australia in 1884 and was living i Richmond at application.

Hi
According to his naturalization record he was born 15 Oct 1863 in Slagen Parish and according to his death record his parents were Jensen Christiansen and Annie Erickson.

He was actually born in Fon Parish:
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01pgh/ - nr 35 - parents as Christian Nielsen and Anne Karine Andersdatter

His confirmation record 1878:
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01pgi/ - nr 15 - parents as Kristian Nilsen and Anne Karine Eriksdatter.

Not too sure what to make of the mother's surnames but probably an error.

I'm finding it a bit strange the his fathers first name was Jensen

If you look at registrations on VICBDM, you will see that it is common practice to have father’s surname first.

Hi Freya
I'll answer your question here.
I don't really know why he used the surname Jensen but I have seen many seamen from Scandinavia change their names after they had jumped ship. He may well have been one of them.

Yeah thanks.
I have a Lars Ellingsen where oral family history says he jumped ship, but he didn’t change his family name on arrival it was thought he just blended in with other gold rush seekers😬Re Andrew Jensen I was thinking his wife who was English prob didn’t really know his fathers names as she gave that info on his dc., it didn’t occur to me of a name change, which is so different to his fathers names...so can we be sure that this is him that was found as also mother’s name is a wee bit different in some docs😬
