Thanks Matthew. Yes, I'm trying to figure out whether the sailor Peter mentioned in the crew lists is the same Peter who died in Tasmania in 1919. Also, whether he might be the brother of a Tasmanian convict Margaret (later known as Mary) Treanor (1827-1886) who married Thomas Trainer on 11 March 1847 recorded under the names Mary Treianor and Thomas Treainor. I suspect there may have been 2 Peter Traynors (sp???) in Manchester. It looks like her brother Peter was in Tasmania in 1889 as someone with the initials P.T. claiming Mary to be a sister placed an "In Memoriam" notice in a Tassie newspaper -
