I've tried so-called "Friends" of cemeteries before.
No one ever seems to answer unless you pay.

Cemeteries were always run by councils with public money and as such should provide
a plan of the layout so family or friends could locate the grave.
Most councils still offer this service apart from the few that have dumped their responsibilites
onto so-called "Friends" organisations just to save a few pennies.
It annoys me to have to ask a private organisation to gain access to a family grave in what was a public cemetery.
