I’m looking for the family of Louisa Gertrude Simmons. I believe she was born around 1890 Gt Yarmouth.
She married George Charles Underwood. They had Edna, Louisa and Robert Underwood

Have you located them on the 1911 census as that should confirm her place of birth

On the census it says Great Yarmouth, but I can’t seem to find a birth for her.

Her fathers name was down as Thomas Simmons but again, I’ve struggled to locate him

This may be a different Louisa but school admission 10 Jan 1898 in Great Yarmouth for Louisa Simmons born 13 10 1890 (not 20 at marriage then!) address 96 George St, parent or guardian Mary Ann, no mention of Thomas.

Hmmm...the school record could be her. I found a man that could possibly be her father and he died in 1893. This guys wife passed away 1900 tho. So who would the Mary Ann be?

You haven’t mentioned the 1891 census - do you think that is her?
As you say there are possible deaths for parents.

In 1881 1756/126/52

Thomas is an Army Pensioner and the children are born in different places.

James, abt 1878 is born in Warley, Essex (possibly he is John in 1891)
GRO 1878 John James Simmons mmn Walker , Billericay

Witness to the marriage - John James

1901 1809/182/15

Has a Louise H Simmons 12 yrs as sister in law to Frederick Haggate.
His wife Nellie (abt 1873) shows born Chatham.

Ellen Simmons 7 yrs in 1881 shows b Warley, Essex although her brother William  is born Chatham.  :-\
