Boer War Medal search

He must have medals for this surely?
Can't find this anywhere I normally use, Is there someone around that can help?

Private 2489 James Arnold 3rd South Lancs Regiment served in South Africa from 11/99 until 2/01
Previous service in this regiment ended in 1889 and he was recalled in 1892 so I may have his number wrong
He was born in 1862 in St Helens demobbed/discharged  to Vincent Street

He fdoesn't come up in the nominal roll of the S Lancs in S Africa or on the medal rolls.

What do you have that has his service recorded?

It suggests he was born circa 1867/8, not 1862

Aw,  thanks so much 
 I was in his army file on Ancestry but couldn't read it very well until I just printed it all and saw the medal listed, although it's still not very legible lol
Anyway
This is a bit of research for my father in law to read, on his grandad.  He's been locked down on his own since the start of this and I'm trying to keep him occupied, so much thanks.
