Hi Folks,
Back on this trail again
Found in 1950 a MC for Abraham Mazorkoff:-
MC states Abraham Masorkoff (Abe Marsden) and Minnie Levene(Levine).    So Abraham and Ellen Ellenbogen must have divorced as she died in 1975.  Will be checking that later on.

The query is this; in the 1939 it states Hampstead Road, Liverpool - Abraham Masorkoff(Abe Marsden) b. 1892 and Minnie Marsden (Levine) b. 1902.
Married in 1950 and yet in 1939 as married

Suggestions appreciated.

In 1939 she is Minnie Levine, single.  The surname was altered later, it’s crossed through and surname Marsden added at a later date, after her marriage to Abe.

They'd probably not long got together. 1938/9 Minnie is in the electoral register at a different address on her own

Checked the Elettoral Rolls in Liverpool from 1931-1940 and different address'.  She is in the 1939 with Abe/Abraham so presume the others are different Minnie.  Presume they were living together or she was visiting  at the time.

She was born in West Derby in 1902.

Just going to check out a bit more the second wife Gertrude Ellenbogen 1893-1982 to see what happened to her as it appears they got divorced
