There is a George Lloyd who married Mary  Phillips 4 November 1811 at St George Hanover Square Westminster, witness M? Stanley and Sarah Gage.

There is also a child George Lloyd buried 22 January 1812 St Marylebone.

I'm looking for the family of Frederick William Lloyd born about 1833 Edgware, Midddlesex according to his marriage certificate. His parents are listed as James Lloyd and Maria Blore.

I noticed George Azariah Lloyd's parents are James and Mary Ann and was wondering if there may be a connection?

Where are you seeing him recorded as having the middle name 'William'?

I wonder if he is actually Frederick BUTTON.  James BUTTON married Maria BLORE in 1826.  Four children that I can see - Frederick, 1830, George Samuel, 1831, Jane, 1832, and James, 1838.

James Snr. died in 1843 and Maria remarried in 1844 to Charles LLOYD.

I cannot see the BUTTON family anywhere in 1841, but I can see that James and Jane survived to adulthood and both married with Charles LLOYD as a witness.

Your Frederick was said to be aged 75 when he died in 1905.

Oh my, I think you've cracked it!

The only reference to the middle name William is from Find A Grave (obviously not from him) and I am still waiting to see if I can get a photo of his grave. I've just double checked all my sources for his children's births, and also his marriage and death details, and it just states Frederick Lloyd. It was his son that had William as the middle name.
