FINDING BIRTH RECORDS

Hi all,

I am having trouble finding GRO birth records for some of my relatives.

My 4x great grandparents Joseph HUGHES and Elizabeth (nee BRADLEY) HUGHES were married on 2 June 1844 in Audlem, Parish Church of St. James, Cheshire. They gave birth to my 3x great grandmother Mary HUGHES in 1845 in Audlem, Cheshire. The censuses show they had more children but I am having trouble finding GRO birth references. Can anybody help?

Sadly, three of the children seem to have been buried at Audlem within days of one another:

Another child of the family was William b 1849, but I haven’t found his birth registration. He was baptised at Audlem on 4 May 1849. He married Hannah Sant in 1869, had a family with her and remained in Cheshire until his death registered in Nantwich district in 1927.

The children I know of that HAVE NOT been mentioned:

JESSIE HUGHES, b. abt 1857 (I have only found her on the 1861 census return for the family). I can not find anything else about her.
