Henry & Dennis Fitzgerald

Hi all,
Could do with some extra brains on this one as can't get my head round it for some reason!

So my 2x grt grandparents, Matthew & Harriett Fitzgerald had (among other children) two sons. Henry Fitzgerald b1883 and Dennis Fitzgerald b1884. Dennis does not appear on the 1891 census with his family and I can't find a Dennis Fitzgerald anywhere else that seems to fit. In 1901 Dennis is on the census but Henry isn't.. and I can't find a Henry anywhere that fits. After 1901 I have found a marriage record etc for Henry but nothing for Dennis.
I did originally think that Henry and Dennis were the same person as I know people changed their names/used nicknames etc but I have since found birth, baptism and school records for both.. so definitely two separate people.

So basically trying to discover what became of Dennis after 1901 as that is the last record I can find him on. Not been able to find a marriage record.. am still looking into the rest of the family so he may crop up somewhere but any thoughts on this would be welcome. (probably something really obvious that I've missed!)

His birthplace has been put down as Cardiff, Glam. but if you try and find a birth for Cardiff the only two that come up in the relevant time frame are:-

There is a record for that one on a Fold 3 (free at the moment). Born 1886 I think. I’ll go back and check.
No, 1884.

But signed up in 1904. 
And again for WW1.  Clearly says born near Cardiff (actual parish not so clear )

And, he is on the 1901 in Wales.

Couldn't find the 1901 census at all on ancestry... good searching! I found them on FindMyPast.

That's a good point.. there are only 2 Dennis Fitzgeralds that fit that timeframe.. so I'm wondering if the 1929 death index I've found could be our Dennis? Says born abt 1883. Died in Chelsea though so not living in wales?
Just found another death index for a Dennis Fitzgerald for 1955 in Lambeth.. says born abt 1886 but can find no 1886 birth index for a Dennis Fitzgerald, closest I can find is the 1884 one. So could also be our Dennis?

Sorry yes a typo, should be 1891 - The reference I gave RG12 ... is right though
