« on: Saturday 23 May 20 13:57 BST (UK) »
Good afternoon,
On the 1939 Register my great uncle has next to his name the initial
PWC/525/14437.

Anyone know what it refers to please?
Thank you

 3. Column 11 Much later additions might include the abbreviations “PWC” (Post-War Credits) or “FA” (Family Allowance). http://www.whodoyouthinkyouaremagazine.com/blog/what-1939-register

Good morning, thank you Stan for your reply. Kind of makes sense. On the register all of the other people recorded were around the same age as my gr uncle. But he was the only person who had these initials by his name.
