looking for help and advice on my family tree for William Aitken marshall who married a Margaret McCabe  in1896 in the parish of kirkintilloch/Dumbarton.

There seems to be a few trees online with this couple , although Margaret McCabe also appears as Mary Ann  :-\

John Aitken Marshall born 1833, Cumbernauld, son of Robert Marshall & Margaret Aitken.

John married Ann Orr, Glasgow, 1855

John died 1898, Kirkintilloch

Robert Marshall married, 6/8/1827, Cumbernauld, to Margaret Aitken.

They had 7 children, Robert 1827, John 1829, William 1831, John Aitken, 1833, Margaret 1836, Margaret 1837, and Jane 1839.

Possible births

Robert born 1805, Cumbernauld, son of Robert Marshall & Margaret Hall

Margaret born 1808, Cumbernauld, daughter of John Aitken & Margaret Hardie
