Would it possible to find out who doctors and nurses were working at Hensingham hospital around 1957?

The West Cumberland Hospital at Hensingham was opened in 1964.  It replaced the Whitehaven (Castle) Hospital. perhaps the local Whitehaven Archives center might help.
