CaroleW - Daisie was born Daisie Mary so guess they used Mary in 1901.  Definitely  the family I'm looking for on the 1911 census.

Jessie Brown Hamilton Died 1982, age 84, in Montrose. MMN Brown

That was the lead I needed. Found them all in Brechin, Angus, 1911

Thomas Snr 49, Annie 47, Thomas 22, Mary 20, Annie 18, Alexander 16, Elen 14, Jessie 12, Agnes 10,  George 9, James 6.

Hi Kloumann, Yes I know they moved to England between 1911 and 1915.  The moved to Meopham in Kent - Idley Court.

Many thanks for finding them on the 1911 Census for me, it's great  that you have tracked them down.
