That's great finds, thanks, Andrew.  Now if I can just find John's marriage to Dinah and whether or not he was in fact a son of Wilford and Elizabeth (who married in 1818) then maybe this would complete another part of the ever expanding tree.

;D ;D...had to add a note - someone on another site has just found Wilfred and his mum (a widow by then) and brother and sister in the 1851 Census living at Holmes Yard, Cockermouth they had been transcribed as 'Cope'. I am having a good evening thanks to all you helpful people who kindly do look-ups.  ;D ;D ;D

Donna

Did you get the mail I sent and is this a relation, it was the died in British Columbia part that caught my eye, its not often you see mentions of the Colonies.

The photo was taken in Egremont, which is part way between her and Drigg

So sorry to be late with a reply, Andrew. I've been spending most of my waking hours in a grain truck.  :)

I've received your welcome email just perfectly. I haven't had a chance to check out the British Columbia branch... but, I cannot wait to do some digging! I've seen the name 'Egremont' many times in my searches.

Many, many thanks to you, Andrew. You're a hero!  ;D
