With regard to Christopher, i think it says ......... years Exhaustion.
I suppose that if this was a longer illness, a doctor would have some knowledge of the child but I suppose, in general, if there are no obvious untoward signs, then the relative’s account was accepted.

There is an Ellen Allen with father Thomas born January 1879 so this might be Helena.

Thanks for that. Is it common that some children aren't on the records such as Christopher b.1891, Margaret b. abt 1893 and Michael b. abt 1895? I've searched the irish genealogy website and the irish registers website.

Have I done something wrong here?
I have birth of Thomas 13 May 1876, see attached.
However the Mullingar baptism registers show his baptism as 1875 which can't be correct?!

Mullingar indexes have been typed up. The actual baptism record is very feint but does show as 1876.

About 11th line down in page 66

As for missing birth entries it does happen and unfortunately the ones you have as missing are too late for parish records, I think.
