BOSENCE & LANYON - Sancreed
« on: Wednesday 27 May 20 01:45 BST (UK) »
Hi I am trying to trace Jane Lanyon who married George Bosence on 31 October 1601 at Sancreed. I know Jane was from the Lanyon family but can not seem to find her parents. Her father may have been George but I can't connect George to the surrounding Lanyon family so this may not be correct. I would be greatful for any help with this couple. Thank you in advance.

Possible baptism Jane, d of George Lanyne, 22nd Feb 1568 at Sancreed
Possible sister Jane, d of George Lanyon, 22nd Sept 1566 at Sancreed
Alsen, d of  -- George Lanyon base child, 2nd Oct 1566

Hi thanks for this info. I'm not sure if this is the same George because Sancreed has a George who died 16 November 1592. The George here I am talking about only seems to have had daughters no sons that I have found. There is also a Jane probably his wife who died 16 November 1607 also at Sancreed. George Bosence and Jane Lanyon named their children Sampson, Richard, Benatt etc.. which are Lanyon names so their is a connection just not sure which line. I thought Richard and Margaret Treskillard but no proof.
