Help Please wrong Marriage Cert Lilian Holland

Good Afternoon

I ordered what I thought was 2nd Great Grand Aunts Marriage

However it has thrown a spanner in the work. Not the Father I have.

Marriage Cert shows

Edward Henry Turnubll, 24, Bachelor, Miner, Isabella Pit Father Robert Turnbull married
Lillian Holland, 26, Spinster, Isabella Pit, Joseph Holland

I have a Lilian Holland born 1879 to a Ralph Holland and Agness Gregg my 2nd Great Grandparents.

However most of my relatives have Lilitan married to Edward Henry Turnbull this Marriage cert would say that is not the case.

Can anyone please help with this.

I can find a Lilian Holland b.1878 Tankersley, Yorkshire to a Joseph & Keziah Holland.

What were the names of their children?

Hi Candis, Off subject but may be of interest to you. My father 93, still with us is the son of Florence Holland,he was brought up at 28, Esplanade, i have a few photos probably taken about 1940 of dad with a couple of his aunts (Ralphs sisters). I am in possession of Florences BC and waiting delivery of her marriage cert to George Grassie, and her DC.

I have a Lilian Holland born 1879 to a Ralph Holland and Agness Gregg my 2nd Great Grandparents.

Where are you getting your information?

These are the only children I can see with a father named Ralph in 1891, so her name was Lily, not Lillian.

I thought by getting the Marriage Certificate it would show me more information

They were marred in the Parish of Horton, Tynemouth.

Witnesses are Ralph Liddle and Keziah Holland.

I have a birth for a Lily Holland 1886 October Sheffield 9c 472

Ralph Holland and Agnes Gregg are my 2x Great grandparents.  They had 4 children

Lily which I took was short for Lilian Holland born 1886
William Henry Holland  I know this branch is correct born 1883
Ralph Holland my Great Grand Father born 1884
Sarah Holland  born and died 1889 Agnes died in childborth

I have the marriage Cert For Ralph and Agnes Gregg. Agnes surname was misspelt as either Gregg. Greig, Criag but that is the right family
