The day & month are right just 2 years out.
An 1805 birth makes more sense.
They didn't marry until 1827 so Mr. Colliards might not be the father.
Can you see an Eliza Everson birth c. 1823 ?

sorry, that's what I meant by the years not fitting. Not all of the events on FamilySearch are on FindMyPast which has scans of the register as well so you can check details. The baptism is an extracted record so should be ok.
Marriage 27 Jan 1827 has Elizabeth Frances as full age. There is a column for signature of parents or near friends which shows Wm Parsons, Howrah so he might not have known that she was under age.

James Henry's mother, Elizabeth, died in Madras 1828 and left a detailed will. It mentions:-
eldest son Thomas and his eldest daughter Caroline
second son William deceased, his 3 children Louisa, William & Feliciano
third son George
fourth son James Henry
late daughter Saroo? Williams, her children Matilda Pyva? & George Henry

She may have lied about her age & added a couple of years.
I'm not seeing any connection between her & Eliza.

agree with you there. James Henry Saviel inherited property in Madras and married there in 1833 to Sophia Deverano. He may have married for a second time but I've not found a record of it so far. There is another James Henry having children later on but he's probably a younger generation

Eliza's burial you put up has her husband as James Saviel.
It would be interesting to see how the poster arrived at this.

Quite so!     :)

When the age at marriage is recorded on the records from British India Office, there are some young brides. Lots of teenagers and several 14.

Quote
One of their childern daughter Eliza Colliards
married my great-great- uncle James Henry Saviel in 1839 India
The numbers don't appear to add up.
There's only 31/32 years between Elizabeth's birth & Eliza's marriage.
It's a tight squeeze.
The only possibility is Elizabeth giving birth at 15/16 & Eliza marrying at the same age.
Where did the info come from.
Hi Jim I found the informantion from 1 of The ASIATIC JOURNAL and Monthly Register for British and Foreign INDIA,China ,and Australasia online.
Kind Regards,

I found that William Parson was married to a Elizabeth Spencer in 1818 India could be related to Ann Colliard.
