Thank you Sandra,  I think it is them, certainly the mother, and the others despite the mistakes look like them. I wonder if they are all in a grave together?
I did contact the historical society but no reply, probably due to the present situation.

On a hunch, I Googled "New Orleans  1858 disease". It might have been yellow fever:


 I don't have access to jstor.org, but here is Google's snippet,

1853, 1854, 1855 were bad, but 1856, 1857 not so much. so 1858 was the first year they were there for a serious outbreak.
