Re the will, is there any indication why it was in the Scottish jurisdiction rather than English?
I wondered about that in relation to William who was born and died in Redruth, and was therefore (presumably) domiciled in England. As I understood these things, the confirmation or probate was granted in the deceased's country of domicile. If there was property in another country, the confirmation or probate would then be sealed in that jurisdiction.

Where did Margaret Husband or Gray die?

Margaret died Devon
And William her son died Cornwall
But he must have had an interest in the trust, so I presume thatís why his was Scottish jurisdiction, and so then hers followed on,

It still seems very odd. Especially as the 'sole surviving trustee' had died in 1857, having bought out the interest of others, so did the trust not die with him?

Did either of them leave property in England?

I am not sure about that death for Elizabeth. There is an Elizabeth M Gray nťe Willoughby b Redruth abt 1847 with her parents in 1871.

I donít see Elizabeth Mary Gray after the 1851 when she is with her grandmother, Elizabeth Husband.
However I also do not see a death for her

I don't believe the name Willoughby added (on the transcipt) to Elizabeth is correct. What I see on the census is that Elizabeth M. GRAY is at the next house and is unmarried. She is a teacher and living with another female governess.
