Roslyn Jean STONE 1920-2013

In trying to elucidate the connection to a relatively close relative highlighted by AncestryDNA I suspect the link is via Roslyn Jean STONE, probably born Somerset, who married Thomas Greenwood at Norton Radstock RO in the second quarter of 1939 and subsequently Thomas Henry Hancock.

The limited tree of the apparent relative gives her father as Frank STONE and the 1939 register shows her to have been born in 1920 but I cannot identify her birth registration. Can anyone help me track down her parentage to explore a potential link to my grandmother's family?

The lack of a Birth Registration of Roslyn/Roselyn Stone could mean that she was illegitimate, or that her mother remarried before 1939?

Try searching FreeBMD without using a surname, for Roslyn J.
Possibility in 1919 (Godstone RD) or 1921 (Hartlepool RD).

I won't name them, as they may still be alive, and that contravenes RootsChat guidelines.

Something not right here - her death was in 1997 Bristol (not 2013) and gives her birthdate as 16th February 1922.

There is an Alice R Stone born 6 May 1889 living with Roslyn in 1939.

She is in a few trees on Ancestry (1922 to 1997).  At least one has a photo of her, but does not have a birth for her.  Suggests her Mother was a Roberts, without any back up.

Do her marriage certificates give Frank as her Father?  Also witnesses?

Thanks all for the comments and suggestions. I'd accidentally given her second husband's death date rather than hers. But her year of birth is variable. 1922 from the death registration, 1922 from the 1939 register and 1921 from the Ancestry tree of my DNA match, which is also the source of her father's name.

The Ancestry trees, which I can't view in full, are mixed. Few give her parents' first names and the suggestion that her mother was a Roberts doesn't accord with her father being Frank Stone. While Alice R Stone could well be her mother there is no clearly identifiable marriage that would seem to fit the limited data.

Since I am unsure of whether she is a relation, although her son appears to be a second cousin or second cousin once removed, I am loath to procure a marriage certificate since confirming her father was called Frank would help me little.
