it shows Henry Mathews of Summer, Queens county 5th County 1775. Has anyone any idea where Summer is.

Thank you, that works for me, as I know Togher comes up a bit later for this family. Not sure where C of I's would have been baptised, married, or buried, prior to the opening of St Peters, Portlaoise.

Have just read there was an old St. Peters in Maryborough (Portlaoise), which was used by more than one religion. There seems to be no records.
