Yes, I realise that, was just indicating what I had already apart from the 1881 INFO.

Thanks,

With Referencecto your post re -1851, Mary Haven, Boltkn Street, Chorley, I agree, it doesn't look right.
What I have found is that I believe there is a part of the -1851 Census for Chorley missing, as I did find a few years ago and have just rebooked at my transcript a Reference to  Mary Riley and her son John living in Bengal Street Chorley with a Peter Cavanagh. This John went on to marry Margaret Hefferan. Unfortunately due to Covid 19 closure I am unable to check for any Hefferans in the same Census until, Libraries/Record Office reopen.

I have now ordered the Marriage Cert for Thomas Kelly and catherine Haveran, as this will be quicker than waiting for the Record office to open to check the Parish registers to find this marriage.
I expect this will take several days to arrive but at least then we should know whether or not Martin hefferan was deceased in 1853 ans also the names of the witnesses for the marriage. I am guessing that the marriage will have taken place at St. Gregory's R.C, Church , WeldBank, Chorley.

Thanks again for your help

Degsy,
