Printing Nice Charts
« on: Sunday 31 May 20 19:27 BST (UK) »
I am in lockdown and like many of you probably overdosing on research. I currently use Legacy for my tree but have to admit to being not too computer literate.

In Legacy charting I really like the half fan option but getting it to print / fit to one page of A4 is driving me nuts. In preview for a 5 generation chart it goes onto 2 pages and I cant get it too fit to one page. Have tried printing it to pdf and fit to one page but its too small to read. Today when I try to publish to pdf it says floating point error.

I wonder if its all a ruse to get you to opt for the buy a fancy chart option?

I would be keen to know if any of our members use an off the shelf program that prints nice looking charts on A4 or A3 .

I am looking to do a 5 generation chart for my wife for her birthday next month.

Would be open changing Legacy for another option.

TIA
