Hi everyone I hope some one can answer something for me. I have seen posted that a relative came to New Zealand in 1860 in a vessel called ZAMBUCK but I can not find the ship/boat/floater of any kind with this name it say it carried the Fencibles I have checked the book and the site for the Royal New Zealand Fencibles. Can any one help please thanks Shona Ford

Doesn’t appear to have taken Fencibles to NZ:

I can’t find any reference to a sailing vessel of that name.

What is the name of your ancestor?

It is a subscribe to view website.  Perhaps Seaweed can help with this.

Zambuck was a patent “cure-all” ointment back in the 1950s and before. I wonder whether the ointment was named after the ship or vice versa?
